remember when...

we made cinnamon waffles for breakfast this morning.
happy start to the day in the magee house!
as i was cleaning up and doing the dishes, i started thinking...

remember when...

i used my waffle maker for the first time and we had waffles for a week.

a gallon of milk would spoil.

a pack of toilet paper would last almost a month.

i awakened to the sound of silence.

i would run the dishwasher every two or three days.

it was no big deal if you forgot to put the trash out.

the outside of the refrigerator held take out menus and phone numbers.

breakable objects were placed below three feet throughout our house.

i know that some of these experiences will cycle back around.

but, as for now, i'm happy to enjoy watching saturday morning cartoons, running to meet the trash man at 6:45am on fridays, buying 4 gallons of milk a week (and usually running out!), and making breakfast on sunday mornings with my guys.
