the bag

for most people the bag confuses them and causes a second glance.

and yesterday morning, as dad walked in to get his haircut, everyone in the salon stopped and stared. i know it's kind of perplexing... watching him walk with a limp as he tremors and carries his bag.

his bag started out as a small blue bag, but it's now morphed into one of my reusable shopping bags. one that will be thrown away when he's done with it! he changed bags because he feels the inside bag has been getting a kink in it and then leaking. i'm happy because at least he's had the thought that a leaking catheter in my house is an area of concern...

i hope that the people staring in the hair salon never have to go through this...it is so difficult watching his body change. i know it is frustrating for him too. i also know that the pictures of the next three people give him joy and make each day a little bit easier.

jack enjoys his elmo on the computer...
i'm sure he'll be navigating the computer by himself soon!

love watching this boy ride his bike all over and hang with his friends!
he kept riding away from me because he didn't want his picture taken...
and right now we are listening to cage the elephant as i type.

this sweet one came home with a fever yesterday and went right to sleep.
i had to take a picture of him with his loves.

i do believe i agree with dad...these boys make every day worthwhile and different. they are each at different stages...but what i love the most is how they are brothers. they love each other and take care of one another. there are times when i'm very fearful for my walls in a few years with their tempers, but all in all, i'm so happy they have each other.
