"how's it going with your dad?" is a repeated phrase from loving family and friends this past week.
there is nothing wrong with asking. i don't mind. i have no words to describe how it feels to know how many people care about our family.
so...we are working through it. we are all helping each other stay afloat.
imagine living in a place for eight months where someone always did everything for you...made your meals, did your laundry, took your blood sugar...
imagine living in a place where there was no television, no microwave, no dvds, no netlflix, no cell phones, no computers, no debit cards, no internet...
imagine living by yourself for two years...
and then...moving into our house with all of us...
so...needless to say we are all adjusting. i don't think we are sinking, nor do i feel like we are swimming. i feel more like a bobber...floating along in the water.
i found these pictures of louie and jack exploring the water from this weekend and they seem to make sense. we're floating and it's okay...we'll start swimming soon.
